I am humbled by the support I received in the September 1st Democratic primary, in which I earned 73% of the total vote. Thank you for making me your nominee. I look forward to being on the ballot in November.
I want to thank all the volunteers who invited me into their homes and into their networks of friends. Thank you to everyone who knocked on doors for me, who answered the doors, who donated or encouraged me throughout the campaign. My heart is full.
Most of all, I am so very grateful to the First Essex voters for their overwhelming support.
